In a letter, 1925 April 27, to Will Orton Tenson [sic], Pinchot refuses to take on additional work. On July 15 he informs Tewson that he doesn't know "the most beautiful line of poetry in the English language." In a letter, 1928 October 22, Robert Bridges states that he has seen an account of Pinchot's proposed trip to the South Seas and would be interested in a series of articles about it. Pinchot replies on November 2 that he would like to talk to him concerning writing about the voyage for Scribners. Both letters include newsclippings about the trip.
